In the beginning was ORIGINO

(Origin in Esperanto)

ORIGINO is a base created around a cocktail of musks, invented by independent perfumer Vanina Muracciole. This "musk sphere," concentrated as a perfume extract, is for François Hénin (Jovoy perfumes and boutiques) the very origin of the creation of a whole new olfactory universe: "What was only meant to be an olfactory exploration, a game between Vanina and me, a perfume base, would become the guiding thread of an entire brand." Very quickly, the pieces of the puzzle fell into place, initially, like a game, in the form of advertising slogans.

François Henin

Founder of Jeroboam Paris

A 30 ml bottle referring to the 3 litre bottles: The Jeroboams.

These are the kinds of contrasts that amuse François. ORIGINO and the other perfumes in the collection are so intense and so unique that they needed a bottle that matched the project. The name came naturally. Like something obvious.

Perfume is a weapon for those who know how to use it.

François Hénin wanted to create perfumes in their purest expression. The extract has something noble, it is cut for devastating trails. It is therefore the ideal concentration, for these strong, seductive and provocative personalities, who are aware that perfume is a weapon.

JEROBOAM - PERFUME EXTRACTS FOR URBAN NOMADS

Since the vast majority of current perfumes have musky bases, ORIGINO , and the JEROBOAM brand, are destined for a universal destiny. It is therefore natural that the idea of using Esperanto, this language invented at the end of the 19th century with the aim of creating a universal language, was imposed to name the JEROBOAM perfumes.

If the small bottle is an ideal accessory for the daily life of the urban nomads that we have become, perfumes are a Lingvo Internacia (international language) in the art of seduction and remind us that sometimes, they are more effective than a long speech.

Everything made sense, JeroboaM was born.
